Trip Overview

Located in the Bay Area, the UC Berkeley summer program combines top-tier English instruction with explorations of one of America’s most iconic regions. Students gain insight into academic life at a world-renowned university while enjoying San Francisco’s cultural landmarks, green parks, and waterfront attractions. This program blends serious learning with fun excursions, making it ideal for students looking to pair academics with adventure.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in San Francisco
Arrival and transfer to UC Berkeley housing. Campus orientation and welcome activities.

Day 2–5: Academic Focus & City Adventures
Morning English lessons (20–45 hours per week). Afternoon and evening excursions include:

• Top of the Rock (NY-style attraction adapted to program schedule)*
• Central Park-inspired activities at Golden Gate Park
• San Francisco’s famous Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf
• Times Square-style city exploration in downtown SF
• The Vessel & Chelsea Market equivalents at Embarcadero
• Boat tour including views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island

Day 6: Cultural Immersion
Visits to museums, the Palace of Fine Arts, and the Marina District.

Day 7: Closing Activities
Final group events, reflection, and certificate ceremony.

Day 8: Departure
Check-out, airport transfers, and departure.
