This eight-day academic journey offers students a fantastic opportunity to explore higher education down under while experiencing the iconic sights and unique wildlife of Australia’s two most famous cities. From the architectural marvel of the Sydney Opera House to the cultural laneways of Melbourne, this trip is designed to showcase Australia’s world-class universities, vibrant urban life, and stunning natural settings. It’s the perfect blend of campus discovery and unforgettable Aussie experiences.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Sydney
We’ll meet you at Sydney Airport (SYD) and provide a transfer to your hotel. After check-in, we’ll have a trip orientation meeting to go over the exciting week ahead. The rest of the day is free to relax and adjust to the new time zone.

Day 2: University of Sydney & Harbour Icons
After breakfast, we’ll visit the beautiful historic campus of the University of Sydney. After lunch, we’ll tour the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to see its modern facilities. Then, we’ll enjoy the Royal Botanic Gardens with stunning views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We’ll end the day with a visit to the Sydney Tower Eye for panoramic city views.

Day 3: Education Seminar & Harbour Cruise
We’ll participate in an education seminar about studying in Australia. Then, we’ll visit the University of New South Wales campus. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a Sydney Harbour cruise for spectacular views of the city skyline. We’ll also visit Taronga Zoo to see iconic Australian wildlife like kangaroos and koalas.

Day 4: Darling Harbour & Flight to Melbourne
We’ll explore Darling Harbour with some gift shopping in the morning. After lunch, we’ll fly to Melbourne. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to our hotel and have dinner.

Day 5: University of Melbourne & City Views
We’ll tour the prestigious University of Melbourne campus and have lunch there. Then, we’ll explore Melbourne’s city center, visit the Eureka Tower’s Skydeck for incredible views, and ride the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel.

Day 6: RMIT & Puffing Billy Adventure
We’ll visit RMIT University’s modern campus and Monash University. After lunch on campus, we’ll experience the historic Puffing Billy steam train through the Dandenong Ranges and enjoy bird feeding in the beautiful forest setting.

Day 7: Trinity College & Shopping
We’ll visit Trinity College and Swinburne University to see different learning environments. After lunch on campus, we’ll enjoy some retail therapy at a large outlet shopping mall before dinner.

Day 8: Victoria Market & Departure
We’ll visit the famous Queen Victoria Market for last-minute souvenirs and experience this Melbourne institution. Then, we’ll transfer to Melbourne Airport for your departure.

Cost Included

The trip price covers seven nights in 3-5 star hotels, all breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, a dedicated travel guide, comprehensive travel insurance, domestic flight tickets between Sydney and Melbourne, all ground transportation, and all museum and attraction entrance fees.

Cost Excluded

The price does not include international airfare, personal expenses (shopping, additional snacks), or any optional activities not specified in the itinerary.

Group Requirements: A minimum of 10 participants is required. The Australian academic year runs from February to November, with campus visits most vibrant during their semester times.
