Fordham University’s summer program offers students a vibrant mix of academic study and cultural exploration in two of America’s most historic and dynamic cities. Students sharpen their English skills while exploring Boston’s rich history, attending a professional baseball game, and enjoying amusement park fun. This program is perfect for students seeking to combine serious academic development with exciting cultural immersion.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Boston
Arrival at Fordham’s summer campus housing. Orientation session with staff and student meet-and-greet activities.
Day 2–5: Study & Discovery
Morning English lessons (20–45 hours per week). Afternoon and evening excursions include:
- Boston Duck Tour (amphibious city sightseeing)
- Walk the Freedom Trail to explore Revolutionary history
- Visit Harvard Yard for a glimpse of Ivy League life
- Day trip to Six Flags New England amusement park
- Attend a Boston Red Sox baseball game at Fenway Park
Day 6: Cultural Exploration
Museum visits and guided walking tours through Boston’s neighborhoods, including Back Bay and Quincy Market.
Day 7: Reflection & Celebration
Closing group activities, certificate ceremony, and farewell dinner.
Day 8: Departure
Check-out, airport transfers, and departure.
