Trip Overview

Liverpool FC’s Development Camp gives young players the chance to train under official Liverpool FC International Academy coaches while living and learning in the prestigious setting of Repton School. The program combines elite football coaching with cultural excursions and the option to improve English language skills through engaging lessons. Players can choose between the Football Focus track or the Football + English program, each designed to enhance skills both on and off the pitch. Excursions include a behind-the-scenes tour of Anfield Stadium, plus city visits and leisure trips for longer stays.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Orientation
Check-in at Repton School, welcome briefing, distribution of Liverpool FC kit pack, and team introductions.

Day 2–6 (6-Night Camp): Football & Excursions

• Up to 24 hours of football coaching per week (1:14 coach ratio)
• Technical drills, match scenarios, and tactical analysis
• Football workshops (nutrition, match analysis, player development)
• Evening social activities and team games
• Excursion: Anfield Stadium & Museum Tour

Day 2–13 (13-Night Camp): Extended Program

• Additional football coaching sessions and tactical workshops
• Excursions: Liverpool City Tour, Alton Towers Theme Park
• More recovery sessions and advanced player development modules

Football + English Program Option

• Up to 13 hours per week of English lessons (sports-focused curriculum)
• Small class sizes (max. 14 students)
• Interactive project work and cultural communication practice
• Prepares students for IGCSE, IELTS, and Cambridge certifications

Final Day: Graduation & Departure

• Coaching report, medal, and attendance certificate
• Farewell activities and departure

Additional Program Elements

Educational Value: Players develop technical and tactical football skills while improving English language proficiency (if selected). Teamwork, discipline, and cross-cultural exchange are emphasized throughout the camp.

Safety & Logistics: 24/7 pastoral care staff, secure boarding school environment, and supervised excursions. All coaches are Liverpool FC certified and experienced in working with international students.

Group Requirements: Open enrollment for individuals or school groups. Programs run late June through mid-August.
