Trip Overview

The IBWISE Summer Camp in Vienna is designed for students aged 15–18 preparing for Pre IB or Mid IB. Since 2006, IBWISE has welcomed students from over 400 IB schools worldwide, offering small-group academic sessions (6–8 students) led by senior IB examiners and teachers with 15–30+ years of experience.

Students may review 2–4 IB subjects while living on campus in Vienna, with classes covering Mathematics, Sciences, Individuals & Societies, Languages, and The Arts. Outside the classroom, participants enjoy supervised activities such as movie nights, ping-pong tournaments, and cultural excursions to Hofburg Palace, Vienna’s museums, and boating on the Danube.

The program combines academic rigor with cultural immersion, helping students strengthen IB subject knowledge, build confidence, and gain international experience in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

Itinerary

• Morning: Small-group IB subject review sessions
• Afternoon: Academic workshops or individual study
• Evening: Campus activities (movie nights, games, social events)
• Excursions: City tours, museum visits, and Danube boating (scheduled during camp)
• Special Programs: Optional CAS volunteering trip to the Austrian Alps or Spanish immersion extension
