Trip Overview

Set in the vibrant city of Chicago, Loyola University’s summer program combines rigorous English instruction with an exciting exploration of one of America’s most dynamic metropolitan areas. Students immerse themselves in a U.S. university environment while discovering Chicago’s iconic landmarks, cultural attractions, and thrilling adventures. This program offers the perfect balance between academic learning and memorable urban experiences.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chicago
Arrive at Loyola University’s campus and settle into shared accommodations. Orientation and campus tour followed by welcome activities.

Day 2–5: Academic & Urban Discovery
Morning English lessons (20–45 hours per week). Afternoon and evening excursions include:

• Six Flags Great America theme park
• Cruise along the Chicago River
• Visit to a skyscraper observation deck for panoramic city views
• Optional helicopter flight over Chicago’s skyline

Day 6: Cultural Immersion
Explore Chicago’s architectural highlights and neighborhoods, with opportunities to engage in shopping and local dining.

Day 7: Reflection & Community
Closing group activities, certificate ceremony, and time to share experiences with new international friends.

Day 8: Departure
Check-out, airport transfers, and departure.
